Tome was developed to publish beautiful, online publications for students, faculty, and authors. From collaborative student essays to full scale books, journals, and museums, Tome allows users a simple interface to create media-rich, preservable content. We have been working in academic, digital publishing for 15 years offering digital consulting, the Tome publishing platform, as well as hosting, preserving, and site transfers. Working with students and scholars at NYU, NYU Abu Dhabi, Columbia University, Northwestern, University of Colorado Boulder, and Harvard University, we have published dozens of of projects from peer reviewed and published ebooks to experimental collaborative classroom projects, museums, photo essays, maps and more. Our NYU publication showcase, Hemi.press was awarded the ATHE/ASTR Award.

We are proud of our publications and collaborations. From the photo essay, Until We Find You about the disappeared Students from the Ayotzinapa Rural Teacher’s College, the peer reviewed Gesture, Return Atacama the Virtual Asian American Artists Museum, and collaborative student essay, Art, Migration, and Human Rights, created by a group of NYU and Columbia graduate students while studying in Chiapas, Mexico. The course dossier includes 30 authors, and a 1.5 Gigabyte media archive.
